Select Innovations Limited is honoured to be crowned national winner of this year's prestigious Shell Springboard competition for its EnLight universal ballast technology. Shell Springboard is a Shell-funded UK Social Investment programme, which provides a financial boost and national recognition to small and medium enterprises with innovative, low-carbon business ideas. Select Innovations Limited presented the Entelli-Ballast universal dimmable ballast technology to an independent panel of judges at the Shell Springboard regional final in London on 15th February 2012 and received an award of £40,000 and a place in the national final on 6th March 2012. Shell Springboard is a Shell-funded UK Social Investment programme, which provides a financial boost to small and medium enterprises with innovative, low-carbon business ideas. We'll now meet a national panel of judges and compete to be named overall UK winner.

EnLight has been shortlisted for the prestigious Shell Springboard awards. Shell Springboard was set up in 2005 to find the most commercially viable and innovative business ideas capable of significantly reducing the UK's carbon emissions.
The next stage in the competition is to present our Entelli-Ballast technology to a judging panel at the regional final in London on 15th February 2012.

The EnLight® 35-100Watt Entelli-Ballast™ is an award winning product developed with high-level software, electronic and hardware for the industrial, media, data communications, lighting and power, electronics markets.
In March 2011 the EnLight® Entelli-Ballast™ was nominated for the UK Lighting National Design Award and received the 'Highly Commended' accolade.

In June 2011 EnLight® commissioned the services of Norfolk based marketing agency TWO to handle all of its marketing communications.
